Christina M. Berkow

Christina Berkow advises clients on a range of corporate and transactional matters, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, equity investments, and private offerings. Christina’s practice also includes  drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.

Prior to joining Pierce Atwood, Christina was an associate in the New York office of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, where her practice focused on the formation, management, and operation of private equity funds.

Christina graduated magna cum laude from New York University School of Law, where she served as a Managing Editor of the New York University Law Review and as a Legal Research, Writing and Analysis teaching assistant. While in law school, Christina interned with LatinoJustice PRLDEF, an impact litigation nonprofit organization based in New York City. In addition, throughout law school Christina served as a mentor to high school students at the Urban Assembly Academy for Law and Government, a New York City charter school.

Outside of the office, Christina is an avid distance runner. She ran cross country and track at Bowdoin College and raced post-collegiately for Central Park Track Club – New Balance.
