Pierce Atwood's Nolan Reichl and Cathy Connors Partner with GLAD in Kinney v Busch in Oral Argument before Maine Law Court

A question in a pending divorce case between two women was brought to the Maine Law Court from the Maine District Court. In an oral argument presented by Pierce Atwood attorney Nolan Reichl on behalf of Elisabeth Kinney, the court was asked to determine whether property acquired between October 14, 2008 and December 29, 2012 by the same-sex couple married in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts should be treated as marital property for the purposes of a divorce action filed in January 18, 2013.
