USCIS Resumes H-1B Premium Processing for All H-1B Petitions

USICS announced that – beginning October 3, 2017 – it would resume premium processing for all H-1B petitions, including H-1B petitions for extension of stay. USCIS has previously resumed premium processing in July for H-1B petitions exempt from the annual cap because the petitioner is an institution of higher education, a nonprofit organization related to or affiliated with an institution of higher education, or a nonprofit research or government research organization. USCIS resumed premium processing in June for H-1B petitions filed on behalf of physicians under the Conrad 30 waiver program.
