BREAKING: Senate Confirms FERC General Counsel James Danly as Commissioner

The Senate today confirmed James Danly for FERC Commissioner, voting in favor of the Republican nominee, 52–40. Danly will fill a seat left vacant for more than a year, with a term expiring June 30, 2023. His confirmation will ensure that the Commission maintains the quorum of three members it needs to vote on major orders.
