Jim oversees the finance, information technology, human resource, library, and office services teams at Pierce Atwood. He works closely with the Managing Partner on the management of the firm and the longer term planning for the firm. Jim serves on the Management Committee as well as the 401k Investment Committee.
Jim has extensive experience in developing and achieving operational objectives in professional services firms. Before joining Pierce Atwood, he served as VP Finance for an 800 person consulting firm where he was a member of the firm’s risk review board, chair of its 401(k) committee, and past chair of the firm’s project management training and development initiative. In addition to his work in finance and accounting, Jim has managed complex software development and implementation projects, and is experienced with corporate and nonprofit board governance.
