Christopher D. Mordas
Chief Operating Officer
Christopher Mordas oversees Pierce Atwood’s finance, information technology, human resources, library, and office services teams. Chris works closely with the managing partner on the day-to-day management of the firm and on its long-term strategic planning.
Chris has more than 25 years of experience guiding professional services firms and other organizations through growth, transformation, and operational excellence. Before joining Pierce Atwood, he was CEO of Boston-based law firm Bernkopf Goodman LLP, where he was responsible for the firm’s executive administration. Chis also served as the business counselor for that firm’s Executive Committee where he aligned firm initiatives and strategic objectives to its vision and mission.
In addition to his work in finance and accounting, Chris has significant expertise in operational management, leadership and talent development, and compliance and risk management. Chris received his J.D. from Roger Wiliams University School of Law and his B.S. cum laude in Accounting and Finance from Roger Williams University.
