Alexander Pringle

Alexander Pringle is an associate in Pierce Atwood’s Employment Practice Group, where he focuses his practice on matters involving state and federal employment laws, including the Maine Human Rights Act, Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FLSA, and FMLA.

Alex works closely with firm clients to help them resolve their issues efficiently, effectively, and as early in the process as possible in an effort to avoid litigation. But when litigation is necessary, Alex provides robust representation in areas including wage and hour disputes, whistleblower claims, contract disputes, discrimination claims, and enforcement of noncompete agreements.

Alex’s wide-ranging background includes managing election campaigns for the Maine Senate Democratic Committee, and working for the Maine Senate President, the Speaker of the Maine House of Representatives, and the Maine Congressional Apportionment Commission.

As senior advisor for Maine’s Speaker of the House, Alex devised and implemented strategies for several legislative committees, managed committee debates and votes, and assisted the chief of staff in coordinating the overall legislative schedule.

Alex received his J.D. from Boston College School of Law, where he was an executive comment editor for the Boston College Law Review, and a staff writer for the Journal for Law and Social Justice.
