Kasey's work spans an array of industries, including sporting goods, footwear and apparel, cosmetics, food and beverage, automotive, technology, and software. She works with clients of all sizes, from startups and emerging companies to large, established organizations.
Kasey advises on advertising and unfair competition laws, including matters involving sales promotions, sweepstakes and contests, advertising claims, endorsements, and more.
As a content creator herself, Kasey offers a firsthand perspective on the opportunities and challenges presented by social media and influencer marketing. She draws on her deep understanding of social media platforms to provide practical, business-minded advice that helps clients meet compliance obligations without losing sight of their marketing and business goals. She also advises on various consumer protection laws, including those related to telemarketing, email marketing, gift cards, unfair and deceptive pricing, and consumer reviews.
In her intellectual property practice, Kasey advises clients on all aspects of trademark matters, including clearance, prosecution, enforcement, and licensing. She also helps clients protect, enforce, and license copyrights.
Kasey assists banks, insurance companies, and others with a wide range of technology transactions, including software license agreements and software as a service (SaaS) agreements.
Prior to pursuing a legal career, Kasey played ice hockey for Boston University and within the United States National Team Program.
