Madeleine A. Fenderson
Madeleine Fenderson is an associate in Pierce Atwood’s Business Practice Group where she focuses on mergers and acquisitions, energy infrastructure finance and development, and corporate governance. She represents a broad range of clients, including regional businesses, non-profits, private equity firms, and renewable energy developers. Madeleine is experienced in handling both buy-side and sell-side transactions in mergers and acquisitions, as well as advising lenders and borrowers in complex finance deals.
Before joining Pierce Atwood, Madeleine worked as an environmental consultant, specializing in federal and state permitting for renewable energy projects. In this role, she prepared key reports, contracts, and procurement bids to support clients through the regulatory landscape.
Madeleine graduated summa cum laude from Roger Williams University School of Law, where she earned her J.D., and holds a bachelor’s degree from Connecticut College. She also completed a master’s degree in Marine Affairs from the University of Rhode Island, graduating summa cum laude.
