Melanie Conroy Participates in American Bar Association Class Actions Virtual 2020 National Institute

Pierce Atwood litigation counsel Melanie Conroy, who has been the point person for maintaining the firm’s COVID-19 class action litigation tracker, will participate in the panel discussion, “COVID Cases – Who’s Phishing, Who’s Legit?” The panel will discuss whether class actions exist for students who paid full tuition but did not attend a class, businesses that purchased commercial-interruption insurance that failed to address a pandemic, and more.

In this year’s virtual program, participants will learn the latest practical developments in class action law, including trial techniques and best practices to sharpen their skills, from top professors, in-house counsel, and lawyers. Please visit the ABA for more information and to register for this three-day program.
