Pierce Atwood Elevates Emily Cooke and Katie Minervino to Partner

Pierce Atwood LLP is pleased to announce that Emily L. Cooke and Katie Nokes Minervino have been named firm partners.

Emily Cooke, a member of the firm's Business Practice Group, focuses her practice on commercial transactions, compliance, and corporate governance for a range of commercial clients, including banks, health care organizations, insurance industry participants, and nonprofit entities. In addition to traditional corporate and contracts matters, she regularly counsels clients with respect to regulatory compliance in the areas of education and health care, including under the Affordable Care Act.

Katie Minervino, a member of the firm’s Immigration and Employment Practice Groups, assists employers and employees in executing immigration strategies to fulfill temporary and permanent U.S. residence and employment authorization needs. She advises clients on current developments in the ever-evolving field of immigration law and provides support and guidance on employment verification requirements, best practices, and audit response.
