Pierce Atwood Attorneys Contribute as Editor and Authors of 2018 ERISA Survey of Federal Circuits

The American Bar Association has released the 2018 edition of the ERISA Survey of Federal Circuits. Pierce Atwood partner Brooks Magratten is the publication’s editor, and former firm attorneys Byrne Decker and Kyle Kirby are contributing authors to the First Circuit chapter.

According to the ABA, this book lets the reader become acquainted with ERISA law of a particular circuit. Included in the book are leading ERISA cases by circuit, along with “discovery trends, Risk of Relapse, and more.” The ERISA Survey of Federal Circuits is a go-to resource for attorneys needing to quickly familiarize themselves with ERISA law in any of the federal circuit courts.

Brooks is a member of Pierce Atwood's Litigation Practice Group and has significant experience handling ERISA cases across the United States. Brooks is also partner in charge of the firm’s Providence office, has more than 20 years of experience in insurance, product liability, and commercial litigation, and is an author, instructor, and lecturer on ERISA issues.
