Jonathan Gelchinsky Speaker at AIPLA 8th Annual Trademark Boot Camp
Pierce Atwood Trademark partner Jonathan M. Gelchinsky will be participating in the American Intellectual Property Law Association’s 8th Annual Trademark Boot Camp. The Boot Camp is a two-day CLE program designed for new practitioners and others interested in learning the basics of trademark practice.
Jonathan will join other IP practitioners and trademark professionals in these sessions:
Overview of International Trademark Basics: This discussion will focus on the strategic considerations for international trademarks; the international application process, including highlights of Paris Convention and Madrid Protocol; post registration issues, including maintenance and licensing, and enforcement of international marks.
Hands-on Training: Responding Effectively to Office Actions: In these hands-on small group discussions conducted with a USPTO examining attorney, Jonathan will share strategies and best practices for responding to Office Actions.
