“Advanced Electronic I-9 Systems”: Katie Nokes Minervino Panelist at 2018 AILA Annual Conference

Immigration Law partner Katie Minervino participated in a panel discussion on the advanced-level issues facing employers and attorneys in the use of electronic I-9 systems. The panel covered a range of issues including:

  • Proactive advising: reviewing an I-9 system for compliance
  • Reactive advising: when an employer’s system Is not compliant
  • Electronic signatures
  • Onboarding systems vs. I-9 systems
  • Use of agents in the process
