Mason Carr is an associate in Pierce Atwood’s Patent Practice Group.
During law school. Mason was a patent extern for Pierce Atwood’s Boston-based patent group, as well as a research student doing independent study for the 2020 edition of the U.S. Patent Prosecutor’s Desk Reference, where he researched and summarized recent court decisions overturning or reversing Examiner rejections. He also drafted a specialized section on recent court decisions that formed the current state of 35 U.S.C. 101.
Before that, Mason was a summer intern for a Canada-based intellectual property firm, and a legal intern for a large company that provides automation, vacuum, and instrumentation equipment for semiconductor manufacturing, technology device manufacturing, life sciences, and others.
