Lea Polito advises clients on patent prosecution and related strategic matters across a broad range of technologies, including medical devices, mechanical systems, software, and artificial intelligence.

Lea’s practice spans all stages of the patent process, with a focus on developing application strategies, conducting freedom-to-operate analyses, preparing responses during prosecution, and performing noninfringement analyses. 

She works closely with inventors, engineers, and business leaders across diverse industries to help clients protect innovation and assess competitive risk for both client and competitor products. 

Prior to joining Pierce Atwood, Lea was an associate handling patent prosecution and strategy in the Boston office of an international law firm.
