Gene Longobardi

Gene Longobardi has more than 24 years of law firm and in-house paralegal experience in the intellectual property practice area. Gene’s work includes trademark clearance searches, filing and prosecution, monitoring and enforcement of clients' trademarks, and portfolio management. 

Gene handles all aspects of domestic and international trademark prosecution and maintenance, including preparing and filing applications, analyzing Office Actions and supporting attorneys in responding to them, preparing and filing use declarations and extension requests, preparing renewals, monitoring watch services, and conducting due diligence review. Gene also helps manage the firm’s trademark docket.

Prior to joining Pierce Atwood, Gene worked at Fairchild Semiconductor where he spent almost 11 years as a patent paralegal. Prior to that, he worked at Amster, Rothstein & Ebenstein LLP and MetLife in New York as a trademark paralegal.

Gene is proficient with CPi docketing software, SAEGIS and other third-party searching tools, and electronic filing with the USPTO and TTAB.
