Accommodating employees with physical and mental impairments continues to be one of HR’s greatest challenges.  One reason is that the landscape is often changing.  So it’s important to keep abreast of new developments in areas such as who is a disabled worker, the requirement to provide extended leaves of absence, the prohibition of maximum leave and 100% healed policies, the obligation to provide modified work schedules, modified work stations and preferential parking, the adequacy of the interactive dialogue, interference with employees’ use of prescribed medications, and the appropriate use of medical information.

On July 17,  Katy Rand and since retired partner Meg LePage presented this deep-dive session geared specifically to the impaired worker.
