Premium Processing Email Delays at the Nebraska Service Center

The Nebraska Service Center (NSC) has advised that after receiving a high volume of premium processing I-129/H-1B petitions, it is experiencing delays in entering data into its systems, which has led to a delay in issuing receipt emails for I-129/H-1B filings with a request for premium processing. The NSC stated that a case will be receipted for the day it was received, once it has been data entered. The NSC further advised that AILA members should wait at least 10 days after the NSC's receipt of the I-129 petition before inquiring with the NSC's Premium Processing Unit (PPU) about the status of the case.
