Tess Edwards Selected to Participate in Boston Bar Association 2025-2026 Public Interest Leadership Program
Pierce Atwood commercial real estate and land use attorney Tess Edwards was selected to participate in the BBA’s Public Interest Leadership Program (PILP), which provides leadership and professional development training to “rising stars in the Boston legal community.”
Program participants include “talented and highly motivated” private practice attorneys, in-house counsel, and lawyers working in government agencies and nonprofits. According to the BBA, Tess was selected from “a number of impressive applicants to join this tremendously talented group of attorneys.”
The PILP offers participants the opportunity to connect with Boston leaders in both the public and private sectors, with the goal of providing the skills and tools needed to “grow as an effective leader and voice in the community.”
Previous program participants have gone on to serve as elected officials, on boards of local nonprofits, as law firm managing partners, on BBA and Boston Bar Foundation boards, and play key roles in Boston business and community initiatives.
Please visit BBA for more information about this program.
Tess Edwards advises clients on a broad range of land use matters. Tess specializes in zoning and permitting matters — from supporting commercial and residential developers in obtaining local and wetlands permits, to litigating those permits on appeal.
