Pierce Atwood Partner Kathleen Heyer Named to Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly 2026 "Top Women of Law" List

Pierce Atwood land use and litigation attorney Kathleen M. Heyer has been recognized by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly as a 2026 “Top Women of Law.”

Kathleen has extensive experience representing property owners, developers, and companies in a wide range of land use matters, including boundary disputes, encroachments, title defects, and conservation issues. She also works with clients on energy matters, including storage, LNG, and solar energy issues, at the local, state, trial court, and appellate levels.

Since 2023, Kathleen has been recognized by Boston magazine as a “Top Lawyer” for Land Use/Litigation, and since 2024, has been included in the Best Lawyers in America® for Land Use & Zoning Law and Real Estate Law.

Kathleen is a member of the Abstract Club, sits on the Government Affairs Committee of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board, and is a board member, clerk, and co-chair of the Land Use and Zoning Section for the Real Estate Bar Association (REBA). 

Kathleen has also authored several important amicus briefs on behalf of REBA, the Abstract Club, and other important stakeholders in the real estate industry.
