Attorneys, clients, and friends gathered at Pierce Atwood’s Boston office on September 18, 2014 to celebrate the firm’s newly expanded office space, which now includes the entire 22nd floor at 100 Summer Street.
Under the guidance of Will Worden, partner in charge of the Boston office, the firm started with seven Portland attorneys in subleased 2800 square feet of office space in 2006. We started bringing in local talent that year, and after outgrowing our leased space of 6019 square feet at 160 Federal Street, we needed to move up and out of that space.
In 2010, we moved to our current location, leasing 17,066 square feet of office space, with four conference rooms and 28 attorney offices. In 2013, once again bursting at the seams, we expanded into an additional 13,481 square feet bringing our total to 30,547 square feet, nine conference rooms, and 48 attorney offices.
Since opening our Boston office just eight years ago, we have increased our physical presence by more than ten-fold, and are actively filling our space with some of the best legal talent in Boston.
