Kathleen Heyer Receives Bishop’s University Top 10 After 10 Award

Pierce Atwood real estate and land use attorney Kathleen Heyer has received Bishop’s University Top 10 After 10 Award, a recognition given to select alumni who have demonstrated:

  • Personal and professional achievement
  • Leadership within their community
  • Vision and values

Kathleen was part of the founding team of attorneys who developed and implemented the Massachusetts Land Court’s tax lien foreclosure pro bono program, for which Pierce Atwood and the other founding firms received the Lawyers Clearinghouse 2025 Pro Bono Excellence Award. Kathleen continues to represent homeowners in tax title proceedings through that program.

Since 2024, Kathleen has been included in The Best Lawyers in America® “Ones to Watch” for Land Use & Zoning Law and Real Estate Law, and has been recognized by Boston magazine as a "Top Lawyer" for Land Use/Environmental since 2023.
