Firm partner Christopher E. Howard led a panel of business leaders from, or doing business with, Arctic countries in a session titled, "Economic Drivers in the Arctic." Topics included oil and gas, shipping, energy development (heat and power for communities and businesses), and more.
The conference focused on business development and operations in the Arctic region, a “last frontier” that yields much potential, yet offers many challenges. The conference was hosted by the Icelandic-American Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Institute of the North and the American Icelandic Chamber of Commerce, the IACC’s sister chamber in Iceland.
