Eben Albert Named Maine Campaign for Justice 2026 Campaign Co-Chair
Pierce Atwood energy partner Eben Albert has been named co-chair of the Maine Campaign for Justice 2026 campaign. The sole mission of the Maine Campaign for Justice is to “secure access to justice for vulnerable Mainers.”
The Campaign for Justice unites Maine’s legal community to raise critical funding for the state’s core civil legal services providers: Immigrant Legal Advocacy Project, Legal Services for Maine Elders, Maine Equal Justice, Clinics at Maine Law, and the Volunteer Lawyers Project.
Eben brings deep experience and long-standing commitment to civil legal aid. He previously served as co-chair of the Muskie Fund for Legal Services and was a member of the ILAP board of directors. His pro bono contributions have been recognized through the Katahdin Counsel Recognition Program, and he was named Pro Bono Attorney of the Year by ILAP in 2013.
Reflecting on his motivation to support the Campaign for Justice, Eben stated, “Supporting civil legal aid means ensuring that people have access to legal counsel when they need it most. Civil legal aid helps families remain housed, survivors find safety, veterans access benefits, and older Mainers stay protected from exploitation. As members of the bar, supporting civil legal aid is one of the clearest ways we can uphold our shared professional values and the integrity of the justice system we serve.”
