Our attorneys have played leading roles in the fundamental changes in Maine’s health insurance landscape over the past two decades, including:

• Serving as lead counsel to an association of pharmaceutical benefit management companies challenging Maine’s PBM law.
• Helping to solve Maine’s historically challenging workers compensation problems when we took the lead in creating the Maine Employers Mutual Insurance Company (MEMIC), for which we continue to serve as outside general counsel.
• Taking a leading role in the organization of the Maine Guaranteed Access Reinsurance Association (MGARA), for which we continue to serve as legal counsel.
