Travel Ban and Refugee Program Restrictions Blocked by Ninth Circuit

The United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit affirmed in substantial part the nationwide preliminary injunction issued against Sections 2(c), 6(a) and 6(b) of the March 6 Executive Order by the United States District Court for the District of Hawaii, reasoning that the travel ban exceeded the scope of Executive authority under the Immigration and Nationality Act (State of Hawaii v. Trump).  For a more detailed discussion of the travel ban, visit Business Immigration Under the Trump Administration.
