Rhode Island Governor Gina M. Raimondo Appoints Pierce Atwood Partner Christopher H. Little to Rhode Island Airport Corporation Board

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Pierce Atwood LLP is pleased to announce that Rhode Island Governor Gina M. Raimondo has appointed Pierce Atwood Partner Christopher H. Little to serve on the Board of Directors of Rhode Island Airport Corporation.

Chris has been asked to help address important issues, including the runway expansion project at T.F. Green Airport, which involves FAA-required upgrades that require important environmental and safety improvements. Chris will also be working closely with RIAC management on issues regarding the decreasing number of passengers using T.F. Green Airport.

In discussing the need to build a “coordinated strategy to attract visitors and businesses to Rhode Island,” Governor Raimondo stated that Chris and the one other new RIAC Board appointee “understand this goal and the role our airport must play in making our state stronger.”

Chris has more than 35 years of experience in all areas of construction law and litigation in cases throughout New England and beyond. For 25 years, Chris has served on the panel of the American Arbitration Association as a neutral arbitrator for large and complex commercial and construction disputes.
