Pierce Atwood Attorneys to Moderate and Speak on Panel at New England Legal Foundation Spring Breakfast Program

The New England Legal Foundation is hosting its Spring Breakfast Program on April 12th in Boston, MA. Pierce Atwood Partner Don Frederico will moderate the panel discussion, "Ripple Effects: The Enforceability of Class Action Waivers in Arbitration Agreements in the Wake of AT&T Mobility v. Concepcion," and Partner Katy Rand will join the panel.

The panelists will discuss the meaning and scope of Concepcion; the arguments presented in the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court’s rehearing of the consumer class action case, Feeney v. Dell; the recent ruling of the NLRB that class action waivers in employment agreements are unenforceable; and what these decisions mean for businesses and legal counsel.
