Bill Taylor Appointed to Mass DEP Advisory Committee on National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Authorization
William E. Taylor, a partner in Pierce Atwood’s Environmental Practice Group, has been appointed to the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection's Advisory Committee on National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Authorization. The Committee will consider whether and how to seek authorization from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to oversee and implement the federal Clean Water Act NPDES program. Bill is the only non-Massachusetts-based member of the committee, and only one of two lawyers on the committee.
For more than 30 years. Bill has devoted his legal practice to water law, waste discharge, stormwater and natural resource licensing, compliance counseling, rulemaking, auditing, and enforcement. He regularly represents clients before local, state, and federal administrative agencies.
