Steven Russell has extensive experience preparing and prosecuting patents, counseling clients on licensing, trademark, and copyright matters, and supporting intellectual property litigation.

In addition to his background and knowledge in electrical engineering, computer hardware and software, and medical devices, he has worked with technologies such as high-current and switched-mode power supplies, power inverters, network storage, pharmaceutical compliance, and analytics.

His technology background also includes LED drivers, regulators, dimmers, DSPs, SIMD processors, cellular networks, cell-phone transmission circuits, RF transceivers, FFT circuits, digital image processing, and HADOOP clusters.

Steve began his legal career as an IP associate with Goodwin Procter and then Morgan Lewis, where he prepared and prosecuted U.S. and international patent applications for computer hardware and software, electronic circuits, semiconductor devices, and mechanical devices.

Prior to practicing law, Steve spent several years as a hardware design engineer in some of the largest technology companies, including Digital Equipment Corporation, Compaq, Hewlett-Packard, and Intel.
