Mary-Laura Greely Joins Pierce Atwood's Business Practice Group

Pierce Atwood LLP has added accomplished M&A attorney Mary-Laura Greely to its Business Practice Group, the firm’s latest addition to its expanding Boston office. Mary-Laura has more than 20 years of experience representing private and public companies on mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, strategic investments, equity structures, corporate governance and succession planning, employment, intellectual property protection and licensing arrangements. Mary-Laura also advises private equity funds on their portfolio investments and management and boards of directors involved in significant transactions.

Prior to joining Pierce Atwood, Mary-Laura was a corporate law partner at Brown Rudnick LLP, where her work involved complex transactions in a broad range of industries, including manufacturing, consumer products, food and beverage, health care, medical device, financial services, technology, and media. One of her transactions received the Tech Dealmaker Award by Mass High Tech and The Association for Corporate Growth Boston, and another was selected for the 2013 M&A Advisor Deal of the Year Award.

Mary-Laura has been a guest lecturer on various panels at Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education (MCLE), Babson College, and Boston University School of Law. Mary-Laura earned her J.D. from Boston University School of Law, her M.A. from Harvard University, and her B.A. cum laude from Wellesley College.
