Lori joined Pierce Atwood as Counsel in the firm's Banking & Financial Services Practice Group in 2006. Prior to joining the firm, Lori spent 11 years as Corporate Counsel & Compliance Officer for Gorham Savings Bank, where she oversaw the Bank's Legal and Regulatory Compliance functions.
Lori has significant experience in community banking, including state and federal regulatory matters in areas including deposit, lending and non-deposit investment products and services.

Lori is a member of the Maine State Bar Association, as well as its Consumer and Financial Institutions Law Section and its Women's Law Section. Lori is also a member of the Consumer Financial Services and the Banking Law Committees of the American Bar Association's Business Law Section.
In June 2006, Lori joined the Board of Trustees for the Cancer Community Center, located in South Portland, Maine. The Center serves adults living with cancer and their loved ones without referral and at no cost.
Lori also joined the Board of Directors of the Maine Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association in June 2007. The Maine Chapter serves the entire State of Maine from its Falmouth office and is available to assist the approximately 30,000 families in Maine who are affected by Alzheimer's disease or a related dementia.


Lori received an A.B., Phi Beta Kappa, summa cum laude, in Governmental Studies from Bowdoin College (1990). She received her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Maine School of Law (1993).
Lori is admitted to practice in Maine, Massachusetts, and the United States District Court for the District of Maine.
