In his practice, Nick assists clients in a variety of areas, including permitting, land use, and environmental litigation. He has experience working with state and federal regulators in multiple agencies, including the Maine Department of Environmental Protection, Maine Land Use Regulation Commission, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Maine Department of Conservation, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and Maine Department of Inland Fisheries & Wildlife, as well as with the Maine Board of Environmental Protection. Recently, Nick has worked with clients to permit a wind power facility and upgrades to an oil terminal facility and interstate oil pipeline.
In his land use practice, Nick represents clients before municipal boards in cities and towns throughout

Nick is a member of the Maine State Bar Association. He is chair of the Natural Resources and Environmental Law Section of the Maine Bar.


Nick holds an A.B., magna cum laude, in Government and Environmental Studies from Bowdoin College and a J.D. from Boston University School of Law, where he was a member of the Public Interest Law Journal.
Nick is admitted to practice in Maine.
