Noha is an associate in the firm's Energy Practice Group. Noha has experience across a variety of areas in energy regulation, where she led a significant portion of the Transmission Planning and Cost Allocation rulemaking (Order No. 1000) at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and worked on reliability issues, including several cases that addressed critical infrastructure protection standards. In addition, her experience extends to the financial aspects of energy regulation including mergers and acquisitions, tax issues, and formula rates.
Prior to joining Pierce Atwood, Noha worked at FERC, first as an Energy Analyst with the Office of Energy Market Regulation and then as an Attorney Advisor in the Office of General Counsel. During Law School she was a Legal Intern for the Securities and Exchange Commission, and a Summer Associate for Blackwell Sanders Peper Martin LLP. Prior to law school, Noha worked for Senator Charles T. Hagel and lobbied on health care issues.
