Michele is a partner in Pierce Atwood's Litigation Practice Group. Her practice includes all stages of commercial litigation in state and federal courts, from discovery and discovery motions, court arguments, settlement negotiations, trials, and appeals. Michele represents a diverse range of commercial clients in a broad range of litigation matters.
Before coming to Pierce Atwood, Michele was a litigation associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, in New York City, where her practice focused on commercial and appellate litigation in federal courts.
Michele began her litigation career with two federal clerkships. She served as law clerk to the Honorable Theodore H. Katz of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York and the Honorable Max Rosenn of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
Recent Experience
- Obtained dismissal of negligence and breach of fiduciary duty claims against one of New England’s largest banks by an account holder
- Representation of lenders and loan servicers in proceedings before the New Hampshire Banking Department
- Prevailed on summary judgment to obtain dismissal of privacy tort claims against a large commercial retailer
- Obtained dismissal of employment discrimination claims against a hotel operator
