Mason is the senior attorney in our Labor & Employment Practice Group, and served for many years as practice leader.
Recent Experience
- Prepared written affirmative action plans and successfully completed U.S. Department of Labor/OFCCP affirmative action audits for Maine hospitals and health care organizations
- Negotiated new labor agreement for purchaser of Gorham NH paper mill
- Lead negotiator for Katahdin Paper and Milton CAT
- Contested and resolved willful and serious OSHA citations for Milton CAT (fatality), Fraser Paper, and others - Contested and won employment discrimination claims before the Maine Human Rights Commission and EEOC for Katahdin Paper and others
- Represented Pioneer Plastics as lead negotiator in collective bargaining, and in NLRB election resulting in decertification of Teamsters Union
- Won labor arbitration in discharge case for HomeHealth Visiting Nurses
