John is an associate in both the Business and Environmental & Land Use practice groups. John works on a wide variety of commercial and environmental matters, offering his clients strategic advice and efficiently helping his clients obtain favorable results.
While a law school student, John served as a judicial intern for United States District Court Judge Virginia M. Hernandez Covington of the Middle District of Florida in 2010, and as a Pierce Atwood Summer Associate in 2011. In addition, John volunteered his time teaching basic constitutional law to DC middle school students through GW law’s Street Law program.
Prior to entering law school, John gained extensive political experience working in the Florida state legislature, and on various state, local, and national campaigns. John was also active in community service, including a yearlong fundraising campaign followed by a service trip in the summer of 2008 to Juarez, Mexico to build homes.
