Dead River Company Real Estate Matters

Representation of regional oil and real estate owner and developer Dead River Company and its affiliates regularly in acquisitions, development financings and loan refinancings, including several acquisitions secured by properties in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, and Maine totaling in excess of $100 million dollars. The Real Estate Practice Group represents this client for the negotiation of retail leases in their shopping centers and strip centers with tenants such as Office Depot, Staples, Ross, Bealls, Bon Worth, Panera, Mattress Giant and FedEx, and the negotiation of office leases in their office buildings with tenants such as Aetna and TD Bank. We have also represented a joint venture in which Dead River participated in connection with the purchase of an approximately 48 acre campus in Rhode Island, which campus includes three existing class "A" office buildings containing approximately 274,000 rentable square feet and an additional 375,000 rentable square feet of developable land.
