In this constantly-evolving landscape of regulations, laws, data security, and privacy standards, many companies and their outside counsel are struggling to keep up. Brooks R. Magratten, partner in charge of Pierce Atwood’s Providence office and a member of DRI’s Law Institute, will deliver the seminar’s welcome address. Peter J. Guffin, Chair of Pierce Atwood’s Intellectual Property & Technology Group, and head of the firm's Privacy & Data Security practice, will co-present the program, “Role of the Chief Privacy Officer and Information Governance.” Joining Peter in this presentation will be Unum’s Chief Privacy Officer, Timothy D. Smith.
