Michael J. Derderian

Associate

Michael Derderian is an associate in Pierce Atwood’s Litigation Practice Group.

Prior to joining Pierce Atwood, Michael served as a law clerk for the Hon. William J. Kayatta, Jr. of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.  Prior to that he clerked for the Hon. Indira Talwani of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.

Before that, Michael was an associate at Morvillo Abramowitz Grand Iason & Anello P.C., a New York litigation boutique, where he represented clients involved in government investigations and criminal prosecutions. Before joining Morvillo, Michael served as a law clerk for the Hon. Margaret A. Ryan of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces, and worked as a litigation associate in the New York office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.

While at Notre Dame Law School, Michael received the Dean Joseph O’Meara Award, the school’s second highest academic honor.
