Marianna Putnam Liddell
Molly Liddell is Pierce Atwood’s managing partner. Previously, Molly was chair of the firm’s Trusts & Estates Practice Group, where she worked with high net worth families and individuals on their estate planning and frequently served as a trustee for family trusts.
As managing partner, Molly oversees the firm’s strategic initiatives, operations, and continued commitment to delivering exceptional client service across all offices. She works closely with the firm’s leadership team to guide Pierce Atwood’s growth while maintaining its strong culture of collaboration, integrity, and innovation.
Molly’s extensive team-building experience—collaborating with family advisors, financial planners, accountants, insurance professionals, and business consultants—enhances her approach as managing partner, where she prioritizes coordinated, cross-functional leadership and clear communication across the firm.
Molly has served in a variety of leadership roles at the firm and in the estate planning community. She has been on the firm’s management committee since 2013. She is a Fellow in The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, a member of the Maine Courts’ Probate and Trust law Advisory Commission, and a member of the Maine Estate Planning Council. Molly is also a director of Katahdin Trust Company.
