Carol Smoots to Present at AGA's 35th Annual Legal Forum
Pierce Atwood attorney Carol Smoots will be a presenter at the American Gas Association's upcoming 35th Annual Legal Forum to be held July 15-July 17, 2012 in San Diego, California.
The AGA Legal Forum is an intensive two-day seminar that gives participants the opportunity for in-depth discussion of gas industry issues with other member company general counsel and senior attorneys. The forum will focus on the impact of the changes taking place in the industry and the new legal challenges facing attorneys and clients.
Carol will present as part of the Gas/Electric Coordination Panel, which will be held on the second day of the seminar. The presentation will discuss how the increased use of natural gas to generate electricity affects both industries. This is both a huge challenge and an opportunity.
