Pierce Atwood Managing Partner Gloria Pinza Selected for Maine Judicial Selection Committee

Gloria Pinza has been named to Governor Paul LePage's Judicial Selection Committee. Gloria is the Managing Partner of Pierce Atwood LLP and was formerly Chair of the firm's Intellectual Property & Technology Practice Group. Over the past nine years she has played a key role in Pierce Atwood's management, including its strategic planning and strategic growth initiatives.  In addition to being named as a member of the Judicial Selection Committee, Pinza was appointed to the LePage Transition Advisory Team last November. 

 

As announced on Friday, April 29, 2011, other members of the Judicial Selection Committee include Michael Friedman, Esq., Rudman & Winchell, Bangor; John Hobson, Esq., Perkins Thompson, P.A., Portland; Ann Robinson, Esq., Preti Flaherty Beliveau & Pachios, LLP, Augusta; Geoffrey Rushlau, District Attorney, Knox, Lincoln, Sagadahoc, & Waldo Counties; Harold Stewart II, Esq., Stewart Law Office, P.A., Presque Isle; Committee Chair, Joshua Tardy, Esq., Irwin Tardy & Morris, LLC, Newport.

"I am honored to be asked by the Governor to assist with this important task and to serve with such distinguished fellow members of the Bar," said Pinza.  The Judicial Selection Committee will immediately get to work screening candidates for an open position in the Bangor District Court.
