Brunswick Finance Director Pleased with Judgment

Pierce Atwood helped the Town of Brunswick obtain a favorable judgment from the Maine Superior Court in a lawsuit brought against the Town by a local hotel developer. The lawsuit challenged a Credit Enhancement Agreement worth $1 million entered into by the Town with a competing hotel developer.

John Eldridge, Town of Brunswick Finance Director, praised John Aromando and Pierce Atwood saying,

"I can't begin to tell you how much we appreciate the work that you, Nick [Livesay], Jim [Saffian], and Denise [Plourde] did on this. Obviously this is a fantastic result. I know how hard everyone worked on this and just want you to know how much we appreciate those efforts. Again, thanks to all."
