Alexander Price is an associate in Pierce Atwood’s Government Relations & Lobbying Practice Group.

Alexander represents businesses and trade associations, with a focus on labor and employment. He works closely with clients to advance policies that strengthen Maine’s economy and support the creation and preservation of quality jobs. Alexander provides on-the-ground support in the Maine capitol to Pierce Atwood’s government relations clients and helps design and execute their legislative strategy, including developing talking points, advocating for client positions, engaging clients in communications with legislators, organizing outreach to engage allied stakeholder groups, and reporting on legislative activity.

In addition to serving as a lobbyist for businesses, trade associations, and other clients before the Maine Legislature, Alexander has been involved in several compliance, licensing, and regulatory matters before various state agencies, including the Bureau of Insurance and the Maine Gambling Control Unit.

Alexander has worked in government and politics for most of his career. In 2012, he worked in the Washington, D.C. and Bangor, Maine offices of former Senator Olympia J. Snowe and then worked as a campaign consultant and field director for the Cumberland County Republican Committee.

Prior to joining Pierce Atwood, Alexander worked as a legislative aide in the House Minority Office of the Maine House of Representatives. A graduate of the University of Maine School of Law, Alexander interned in the Cumberland County District Attorney’s office and worked as a student attorney in the Cumberland Legal Aid Clinic.

Alexander currently serves as the Chair of the State Board of Property Tax Review and as a Board Member of the Cumberland Bar Association. Alexander is a founding member of Computer Science of Maine (CS4Maine), an organization dedicated to providing all Maine students with access to computer science education.
